About Zanzibar.eco
Zanzibar.eco is presented and managed by “The World Unite for Environment and Social Sustainability” (WUESS), a local NGO, registered in Zanzibar.
The NGO is dedicated to the development and promotion of sustainable tourism, partnering with local providers of environmentally friendly accommodation and other tourism-related services and products. Several services presented on this website have been developed by WUESS together with local partners and have not been available online and easily accessible for international tourists before the launch of zanzibar.eco.
You will book all services and make payments through WUESS and thus support sustainable development of rural communities in Zanzibar and East Africa, and environmental conservation activities.
The website was developed in cooperation with World Unite Japan 株式会社, a consulting company active in the field of alternative tourism development at various countries.
