The villas can accommodate up to 10 or respectively 12 adults and are therefore the perfect location for yoga retreats, team building workshops or family reunions. Each villa is composed of several bedrooms and bathrooms. Relax in your private lounges, be it in the garden or on the rooftop. With their spacious layout the villas also serve as the perfect hideaway for honeymooners.
The Milele team is also specialized in wedding receptions and ceremonies on the beach to guarantee an unforgettable day in your life. Lunch and dinner are offered through a daily changing menu including fresh fish and seafood, meat as well as vegetarian options. The icing on the cake is the 24-hour room service serving you the freshly prepared food whenever and wherever you want – be it in your villa, on the beach, in your garden or under the stars on a private peer in the Indian Ocean.

The Milele Villas are situated in a tropical forest directly at the beach 15km from Nungwi and 50km from the airport.

Are you travelling with children?
We love children and are happy about welcoming children at the hotel. Unfortunately our online reservation system is not yet fully ready to calculate child rates correctly. We are working on this.
So when you proceed with the reservation, you will currently only see adult rates displayed and calculated.
But don’t worry! We will manually review any reservation and will adjust the rate. You will hear from us shortly after your reservation. You will only pay the hotel’s child rate for your children.
Child policy of this hotel:
Children aged 0-4 years are free of charge.
One child aged between 5-15 years is free of charge per paying adult. Additional children aged 5-15 years pay 35 USD per night.
Children aged 16 years and more pay full adult rate. Please choose “adult” in the online reservation in case of a child aged 16 or older.
The policy of this hotel in case of cancellation or no show is:
● More than 30 days before arrival: 30% of charged rate
● Between 14 – 30 days before to arrival: 50% of charged rate
● Less than 14 days before arrival, and no show: 100% of charged rate

Ecological Footprint
The Milele Villas are one of the few accommodation choices on Zanzibar which are completely powered by solar energy. Approximately a third of their water consumption throughout the year comes from rain water catchment and the grey water is filtered through a septic tank. During the construction and decoration of the villas high emphasis has been put on the usage of local material such as palm-thatched roofs and furniture made of recycled dhow sailing boats.
Non-residual waste is avoided when possible and separated for further recycling. The Milele Villas source their ingredients and supplies all locally and the majority of the staff accounts of Zanzibaris. Medical treatments of the staff are paid by the Milele Villas as is also the sponsorship of several local events and celebrations.
The founder of Milele Villas set-up a dhow furniture workshop where local craftsmen are giving the old sailing boats a new life. The coral reefs near to the beach have been marked with buoys in order to prevent fishermen from anchoring.
