The Bungalow Double Room with beach view and rustic furniture is the perfect place to stay away from the crowds and get inmersed in a Swahili atmosphere.

The room is equipped with mosquito netting, a sofa, a huge desk and chair, as well as a lovely bookshelf. All the rustic furniture is made from reclaimed dhow wood so is very solid and chunky. Woven palm leaves line the walls, and the floors are of dark wood; although this makes the rooms quite dark, even during the day, it also means that they remain relatively cool. It also has an en-suite bathroom with compost toilet and rainwater hot shower.

Colorful kangas, woven mats and wall decorations lend character as well as a touch of individuality.
