Jambiani Beach and Watersports Festival

The Zanzibar Beach & Watersports Festival is a celebration of beach life, culture & music, spanning 3 days held annually in Jambiani (South East Zanzibar).
Free entry – every day from 10 am until late.
This non-profit event is organized by an informal group of volunteers led by Red Monkey Lodge and involving a multitude of local organizations, hotels, individuals and village groups. Activities include many beach games and events such as bike race, beach soccer, beach volleyball, beach run, kite surf demo, ngalawa race, goat race, mandazi high jump, chef competition, barman competition and many more. Local NGOs and community groups also have stalls selling local products and running workshops for all to get involved with. Spend the evenings listening to an amazing line up of live musicians and DJs from Zanzibar, Tanzania and around the world.
